eBCalc is a free web-based eBay fee calculator. An eBay fee calculator is a tool which can
calculate eBay fees (that is, the cost of selling an item on eBay). The reason eBay fees need to be "calculated" is that they are not the
same for everyone in all situations. The amount of fees a seller must pay (to list an item on eBay) can vary greatly depending on many different factors. One example of such
a factor is the opening price of the item. Another factor is the closing price of the item. Other factors include what
listing upgrades the seller is using, whether or not they are using eBay Picture Services, the duration of the listing, and so on. When you combine all of the fees for all of these different factors you
can begin to see the true cost of selling an item eBay.
eBCalc is a tool which can do all of these
calculations for you. All
you have to do is supply it with the specific details of your auction (the opening price, closing price, shipping &
handling amount, and so on) and it will calculate and display to you all of your applicable eBay fees if you were to list
an item on eBay using those amounts. eBCalc also supports calculating your
PayPal fees at the same time and it will combine them together with your
eBay fees to form your Total Fees for that auction. By taking the total amount you have received from
your buyer and subtracting all applicable outgoing costs (including your total eBay fees, your total PayPal fees, your
actual cost of shipping, and the price you paid to first acquire the item) results in what's called your
Net Profit. eBCalc calculates and displays your Net Profit, and also allows you to
reverse calculate your Net Profit
as well. Reverse calculating your Net Profit is a process in which you can enter in a desired Net Profit (that is, the amount of Net Profit you wish to receive) and the calculator will
tell you what you would need to charge for Shipping & Handling in order to receive that amount.
