Certain Business & Industrial equipment sold in certain categories on eBay carry a different fee
structure than regular items. eBCalc is one of the very few eBay fee calculators that can accurately calculate and
account for these fees. eBay points out on their fees page
that items sold in the following categories...
Agriculture & Forestry > Tractors & Farm Machinery
Construction > Heavy Equipment, Trailers
Food Service & Retail > Concession Trailers & Carts
Healthcare, Lab & Life Science > Imaging & Aesthetics Equipment
Industrial Supply, MRO > Fork Lifts & Other Lifts
Manufacturing & Metalworking > Manufacturing Equipment
Manufacturing & Metalworking > Metalworking Equipment
Office, Printing & Shipping > Commercial Printing Presses
will be subject to a different fee structure than those in other categories. Items sold in the above
categories will have a fixed Insertion Fee of $20.00, a Reserve Fee of $5.00 (if
you've chosen to list it as a Reserve Auction), and a Final Value Fee of
1.00% (with a maximum charge of $250.00). If you check the option labeled "Business & Industrial"
in eBCalc, it will know to use the fees stated above and not the usual eBay Insertion and Final Value Fees. Although
this option isn't used very often I still chose to include it anyway simply to make the calculator fully complete
and accountable for all possible eBay fees.
